IKON PASS COLLEGE DISCOUNT
Terms, conditions, and information related to Ikon Pass purchases with Outside Life.

All codes are guaranteed by November 1st, 2025.
If you would like to use your pass for spring skiing, summer biking, or need your pass sooner, please email us at IkonPass@outsidelife.com requesting your promo code. You will receive a code within 5-10 business days.
Your pass will not be processed through Ikon Pass until it has been paid in full and your account has been activated with your promo code. Your billing and shipping information must be up to date for the Pass to be shipped. Ikon Pass will start processing and mailing passes this fall (date TBD). Passes will not be issued until the steps above are complete.

$25 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT REQUIRED: A $25 deposit is required to reserve your Ikon Pass until Oct. 3rd, 2025. Pass prices will increase incrementally through October. Your pass rate is not locked in until you are paid in full OR unless you have opted into a Flex Pay payment plan.
You may pay for your pass in full any time prior to the final payment deadline. Your pass will not be processed until it is paid in full. Last day to make a Deposit Only is Friday, October 3, 2025.

If you have paid in full for your 2025-26 Ikon Pass, your code is guaranteed by November 1, 2025. If you need your code sooner, please email ikonpass@outsidelife.com. Responses could take up to 5-10 business days.
Once you receive your code, you will follow the step-by-step instructions on how to apply that code towards your Ikon Pass account. When you apply that code to your Ikon Pass account, that will allow you to update your photo and shipping address. That will then activate your Ikon Pass for the 25-26 season.
All Ikon Passes will be mailed out by Ikon in the fall, to the shipping address you added to your account.

Your promo code is tied to your name and birthdate. It cannot be shared or transferred to anyone else. Only YOU can use your promo code.
If you share your code with anyone, you will not receive a refund.

You must use your own college student identity to apply for the college pass.
You may NOT use a friend, sibling, or colleague’s information to apply. If your name, birthday and email do NOT match the redemption on the promo code, the pass will be terminated and you will NOT receive a refund of any kind.
If you use someone else’s SheerID information, your account will be canceled, and you will not receive a refund.

Ikon Pass prices increase incrementally throughout the year. Your price is only locked in if:
You have paid for your pass in full.
You are enrolled in the FlexPay payment plan.
If neither condition is met, your pass price is subject to increase.
You may pay in full at any time before the final payment deadline.

You may cancel your pass at any time as long as you are not paid in full. You will receive a refund, minus a $25 deposit fee, as long as you have not completed the full payment.
After December 1, 2025: Refunds of any kind are not available.
If you purchase your pass and are no longer eligible for a refund, you can choose to defer your pass, but you must defer it on IkonPass.com by Dec. 11. 2025. After Dec. 11th, there are no cancellations or deferrals for any reason.

If you dispute your pass, it will be voided immediately.
To reinstate your pass, you must reverse the dispute and pay a $100 reinstatement fee.
You will have to wait until the dispute is reversed from your bank account to confirm the payment before we reinstate your pass, after we receive the $100 payment on your profile.

You may defer your pass to the 2026-27 season until December 11, 2025.
Steps to defer:
Redeem your promo code for the current season.
Log into your IkonPass.com profile and defer your pass.

Alterra is responsible for shipping your pass.
To receive your pass:

Your pass will be mailed by Alterra.
Lost your pass? Contact Alterra directly.
Alternative Pickup: After redeeming your code, you can pick up your Ikon Pass at any North American Alterra Resort for a small fee.

SPOT insurance is available for purchase through Alterra Mountain Company.
Insurance can be added to your profile by contacting collegeclub@ikonpass.com before October 31, 2025.

Payment transactions are handled by a third-party gateway and follow their own privacy policies.

If Alterra announces a price increase, your price is only locked in if:
You have paid in full.
You are on the payment plan.

When you are ready to check out, simply select ‘Flex Pay’ as your payment method. To apply, you’ll need to provide some basic information like your mobile number, date of birth, and if you are a US resident, your Social Security Number. If you’re approved, finish checking out and you’re done.

ABOUT SKI TRIPS

Outside Life travelers are often times in college and we offer awesome college ski trips called PowDaze for any collegiate group such as college ski clubs, greek life and groups of friends, but if you’re not in college it’s no problem! Anyone 18+ years or older can travel with us.
Outside Life also offers trips for any independent or post-grad group, such as Alumni ski trips, Graduate Programs or Students, Medical or Law Students, Corporate groups or events.
If you are planning a birthday party, bachelor or bachelorette trip, family trip, or just a group of friends trying to get on the slopes, we got you!

If you have lost or forgotten your password, select “forgot password” and you will receive an email that prompts you to reset it, make sure to check your junk mail if you can’t locate the email.
If you still cannot access your account, please email info@outsidelife.com or call 888-688-5134 and our customer support team will reset it for you.
LODGING

The representative that you signed up under will be in charge of rooming everyone in your group.
In order to room together, you have to be signed up under the same representative. We CANNOT switch rooming between different representatives.

There are many different sized condos and hotels. The representative you signed up under gets to assign rooming based on each travelers request.
1-bedroom condo sleeps 4 people (1 bedroom that either has a king, queen or (2) twin beds plus a sofa sleeper).
2-bedroom condo sleeps 6 people (2 bedrooms with either a king, queen or (2) twin beds plus a sofa sleeper).
3-bedroom condo sleeps 8. (limited availability, those are not always guaranteed).
Hotel room sleeps 4, (2) double beds.
AFTER ARRIVAL

Yes! Our trips offer Outside Life staff on-site.
Our staff is available on check-in day and we provide a hospitality desk the day after check-in. This is when our staff is available to help with any questions or concerns.
